
In a dazzling celebration of beauty, grace, and culture, Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, a distinguished lawyer and model from Nigeria’s South-South region, was named the 45th Miss Nigeria on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
The highly anticipated pageant, which took place at the Royal Box Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, saw Ogah triumph over 19 other talented semi-finalists, impressing judges with her poise, cultural heritage, and captivating charisma. After a fierce competition, Ogah secured her place in the spotlight by defeating four other finalists to claim the prestigious title.
In a heartwarming moment, Ogah was crowned by her predecessor, Shatu Garko, the 44th Miss Nigeria, marking the official passing of the crown.
A visibly excited Ogah expressed her gratitude to the event organizers and the Miss Nigeria team. Reflecting on her achievement, she said, "Being part of this pageant is truly an honor. It has been a lifelong dream to inspire and empower women and girls globally."
