A tenant, Sunday Essien, displayed the boxing prowess of former world heavyweight Boxing Champion, Mike Tyson, when he knocked down his landlord with a punch.
Sunday Essien
The landlord, Pastor Idowu Fagbeyide, suffered the fate for allegedly locking Sunday’s apartment while he still remains a tenant of the house.

The recuperating Pastor Idowu was alleged to have locked out Sunday from his apartment after failed attempts to eject him and other tenants in the house at 59, Alafia Street, Ejigbo, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
The occupants of the house dragged him to court to restrain him from ejecting them illegally. Since then, he was unable to collect rent from them.
Since the matter was at the court the tenants refused to pay their rent. The landlord became helpless because he could not collect rent from the tenants.
Fagbeyide told P.M.NEWS that the tenants are now living in his house free of charge and they are not in a hurry to pack out while Sunday said that since the matter was in court, the landlord should allow the court to decide the matter instead of locking him out.
On the day of the incident the landlord was alleged to have locked Sunday’s room and he could not enter his apartment. When Sunday wanted to know why his door was locked, the landlord reportedly told him he was no longer his tenant.
This angered Sunday who reported grabbed the landlord, knocked him down with a blow and he became unconscious. The landlord was revived and later taken to a hospital where he is now receiving treatment.
The action of Sunday has landed him in trouble as he was arrested by the police and charged to Ejibgo magistrate’s court for assault
When the matter came up for hearing at the court, Sunday pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding magistrate Mrs. S. O. Solebo granted him bail in the sum N200,000 with two sureties.
The matter has been adjourned till 21 March 2011.while the defendant was remanded in prison custody at Apapa, Lagos.

Na wa o. lol This tenant..na wetin now..The landlord no try. He would have waited for the man to return then, tell him to pack out of his house. If he resists, then he'd call police. Finis.
