Ajanni My brother God bless Nigeria I pray always that Nigeria will change for good b/c no place like home .
But at the same time any fish that is in AQUERUM will never know freedom untill it inters the sea.
You need to go out Ajanni and see things by yourself.

my brother , i have pass through so many countries in my life , just the same way i have gone through all the 36 states in nigeria plus the federal capital Abuja , except only two state ,
and i had my university education outside the nigeria , and just now i am dusting my certificate to resume study again ---- ok
our major problem in this country is just that of lawlessness , i bet you , the moment we over comes that hurdles we will prospers like no man business
the moments we respect rule of law , all other things will take care of itself

A lot of you people saying Nigeria has got bad roads and blaming some people of lack of exposure are actually not really exposed to the reality of the Nigerian Dichotomy. The thing about lack of good road I am afraid is a "southern" Nigerian phenomenon. Thanks to the MILLITARY, Nigeria north of the NIGER has got better road infrastructure. Some of their towns and cities are also generally better developed. You guys should open your eyes and travel across Nigeria to see the difference. Then it will be clear to you like 7UP.

Now to the matter of the rescued Libyan sojourners: I believe they are right about Libya being developmentally infrastructurally better than Nigeria. However, from experience and from stories heard, ARAB people are not the most friendly people in the world especially towards "black" AFRICANS. But that is not my cup of tee with these guys. I believe it is quite shameful of these people and very undiplomatic to have said blatantly Libya is better than Nigeria. I think the govt would be very stupid to attend to their course now, having seen how ungrateful they have become after saving their black ass from being lynched in their supposed paradise.

People should learn to say thank you no matter how little a favour is.

As Usual we Nigerians are willing to put the blame of our nations failure on our leaders. God bless the man who pointed out that if we can obey laws our success will be great. electricity situation in Nigeria is nobodies fault in that nobody wants change. today the government wants to build new roads and everybody begins to talk about how it affects them individually. As far i am concerned our country will remain the same until people stop looking for what they will gain from it instead finding what they will do to help it.to those that want to return to libya goodbye and to those that love their nation goodluck.

Nigeria has a long way to go. What we need in that country is just a good and a devoted leader.

Popo2009, they are not holding u ooh. I don't blame them. They found life and comfort in Libya, why won't they love to stay there. My Life got better when I left Nigeria, but I am still proud to be a Nigerian. I searched for a good Job my whole life but I knew no body, so I couldn't get one but here (not in Lybya  though) I did not need someone to fix me up. As long as u are qualified, u will get it. now am doing alright.

I don't know what country this person is talking about, but been out of Nigeria for over 20 years, I still believe that Nigeria is better, the problems with Nigerian is that they want the Government to do everything for them, and where the criminals who impose themselves over them are mismanaging the country's resources, they're too coward to speak out, with the fair that someone is going to kill them.

Nigeria is not the problem, the problem of Nigeria is the people, someone said she works in the foreign country that she's now living, but people in Nigeria after getting the work will not do it, a government official in Nigeria gave me an appointment for 10:00 AM, and did not show up till 5:00 PM, that is 7 hours of my time wasted, and they do not have the curtesy to call me that they're going to be late or reschedule the appointment, and when they arrived they still do not appologise for coming late.

Nigeria can not do anything by itself, it is the people, so if you want Nigeria to be better, let everyone do the best of themself, speak out against injustice, and let us see if Nigeria is not better than many other countries in the world.

My staying away from Nigeria for so long is just simple "A siri abo", meaning you don't know what I am going through, so if anyone abroad is lying to you about abroad been better, it is all lies, if people in Nigeria work half as hard as the people abroad are working, and half as delegent to their work, and half as selfless, they will know that Nigeria is the Greatest Country in the world. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
