As long as I agree that Nigeria is a failed country to her citizens
I will not agree that Libya is better than Nigeria...If they think so
then they should go back there and leave us alone
The only different between Libya and nigeria is that Nigeria is a democratic nation, apart from that Libya is far far better, as u can see, they were forced to come back, they didnt want to return. They use what they have accordingly and their government make sure there is enough for the citizens, no suffering, the only problem is that one president as been there for more than 40years.
Have you asked yourself....What is the population of Libya compared to Nigeria
We are 10x bigger than Libya, so why wont they be alright.

Popo2009, they are not holding u ooh. I don't blame them. They found life and comfort in Libya, why won't they love to stay there. My Life got better when I left Nigeria, but I am still proud to be a Nigerian. I searched for a good Job my whole life but I knew no body, so I couldn't get one but here (not in Lybya  though) I did not need someone to fix me up. As long as u are qualified, u will get it. now am doing alright.
Well goodluck to you, but you forgot one thing. It is still people like you and I
who work for ALL these companies in Naija, Govt ministries& parastaltals.
All the elective positions are still occupied by people. That U couldnt find
a job doesnt make Nigeria worst than Libya.

ago from Libya and here they are condenming Nigeria. They shouldnt expect

govt rescued from danger instead of been grateful that their lives were saved, they are
rather condenming the country.

why returning to nigeria ? since you know you prefares the life in libya to that of nigeria , group of ungreateful useless acclaimed citizen of nigeria , i am directing my msg to those who hold the view that they prefare the life in about to colapse country called libya, and not the good ones amongs the returnees, i think the authority should investigates very thoroughly those that claimed they have three difference names, those are the criminals from ABIA tarnishing the images of nigeria world wide , why not each and every one of them beares their fathers name ? why mohammed ibrahim , and ibrahim to disguised as a muslim ? libya is not an islamic republic ,and even if its so , there are so many non muslim working and living there very peacefully , even in a country like SAUDI ARABIA which is purely a muslim country , they do have a non muslim working and living in almost all their towns and cities except in their two holiest cities of MAKKAH and MADINAH,
why should that of nigeria be so difference , except for the bad ones in our midst, if they spoils them selves , they should not try to tarnished the image of all of us , expecially the good ones amongs us
@Ajanni, i agree with you bt dont be specific here by mentioning ABIA.
Nigerians are all over the world tarnishing the image of our dear country,
when they failed in their quest to get rich quicker than others, they turn around to blame the
Nigerian Govt. yet most people still make it here in nigeria.(though am nt in Naija now)..LOL

''even at dis point of political unrealities''
why the political unrealities since Libya is better. There shouldnt

It is sad to hear that the refugees from Libya prefer life in that country to Nigeria.
Reason is that there are no jobs in Nigeria. They are safe here but no jobs and the
hope of getting one is zero. They wouldn't have gone to Libya in the first place if
there were better opportunities in Nigeria.
The truth is that most countries in Africa have better opportunities for employment
than Nigeria. Nigerian government has not done anything to stimulate employment.
Infact, Nigeria is perhaps the only country in Africa where the unemployment rate for
graduate is over 50%. I repeat..more than half of people graduating from universities
in Nigeria cannot get any job.

Most nigerian looking for employment opportunites go overseas to South Africa,
Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Egypt, Libya, Europe, USA and Asia (Malaysia, Singapore,
China, and Indonesia). Significant number of them do not have enough education,
and working knowledge of the local language to survive in these countries so they
result to crimes.
Most people do not know that Libya has executed more than 100 nigerians in the last
10 years for various crimes. They deported hundreds of nigerians since 2008. Inspite
of this grim statistics, nigerians still prefer Libya to Nigeria. All because of JOBS and
opportunities to earn a little money.

What this all mean is that it is better to be immigrant worker doing dirty, menial jobs
in Libya than to be in Nigeria where there are no jobs. Our leaders need to hear what
these refugees/returnees are saying. God help us all.

dan fulani

dan fulani, you are good. Your comments are always interesting to me, infact you are a wise man.

Anywhere you find comfort becomes a home, whether Nigeria, UK, or Libya. They found comfort in Libya and they enjoyed life there so don't blame them for wanting to go back to Libya.

i wonder what our people mean when they said libya is better than nigeria, libyan government favours only its citizens and not even allow forigners especially black forigners to do any meaningful job among dem. the only good deferent that is equvilent 2 all is their electricity and that is becos there is no way 4 dem to make forigners light and citizens light, it will be nice if our people that just return can say the truth about what they are doing there before we comment, just like in Dubai almost all of dem based permarnently there are Yahoo boys and the ladies are in2 prostitution and fraud with the arab men since the arab men will also pretend 2 be a saint in public,i will just advice all dis returnees 2 wake up to reality of life and face their lives working legally and do things in the right way with the fear of GOD in their hearts and they should stop spoiling nigeria image abroad all becos of their selfish desire and appreciate what the lord has done 4 them by bringing dem savely back home even if our govrnment is not good and responsible @ lest they have tried 2 protect their citizens life dis time around.

as long as they're Nigerian... they're one of us and we are happy to have them back alive than any casualty befalling to any of them out there in Libya. Those Libyans don't care about their own life not to talk of another person.
