That proved to be a large enough number to ensure Jin not only topped the World Digital Song Sales chart, but reached the highest tier on another, related ranking.

The South Korean superstar recently released a brand new single, and whenever that happens with any of the members of the globe-dominating boy band, there’s a very good chance that it will sell well enough to hit the top spot on at least one ranking in the U.S.
Fans of Jin pushed “Close to You” to the summit on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

The track debuts in first place, earning Jin yet another champion on a list that both BTS and the seven of the musicians who make up the act have ruled dozens and dozens of times in the past.
