A Grade I Area Court in Lugbe, Abuja, has officially dissolved the four-year-old marriage between Shuiba Abdullahi and his wife, Aisha Abdullahi, following allegations of disrespect and a troubled relationship.
The petitioner, Shuiba, told the court that his wife constantly disrespected him, making the marriage unbearable. He stated that he no longer found peace in the union and had completely lost interest in continuing the relationship.
During the proceedings, Aisha Abdullahi did not contest the divorce request and agreed to the separation.
After reviewing the case, the presiding judge, Aliyu Kagarko, granted the divorce and ordered Shuiba to allow Aisha to collect her belongings from their home within 24 hours.
The court also noted that the marriage did not produce any children.
