A Nigerian woman, Evelyn Isaac, has publicly accused her husband, Isaac Mefo, of domestic violence, stating that she can no longer endure the abuse.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Uyo-based mother of two alleged that her husband physically assaulted her earlier in the day. Expressing her frustration, she called for divine intervention.
"God will punish you, Isaac Mefo, for beating me this afternoon. I have tolerated enough," she wrote. She further pleaded for strength, stating, "God, I need all the strength and love I can get at this point, and I know You will do it for me."
The revelation has sparked reactions, particularly because the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary just two months ago, in December 2024. At the time, Evelyn shared a heartfelt message online, praying for continued love and happiness in their marriage.
