NDLEA Arrests Woman, Samiat Olabisi Yussuf In Lagos, Seizes Large Quantity of Laughing Gas

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 28-year-old woman, Samiat Olabisi Yussuf, during a raid at her residence in Lekki, Lagos State.  

According to a statement released on Sunday by NDLEA’s Director of Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the operation, which took place on Saturday, February 15, led to the seizure of 169.5 liters of nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, as well as 111 grams of Loud, a high-grade strain of cannabis.  

The agency stated that the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to curb the distribution of illicit substances in high-end neighborhoods across the country.  

NDLEA has assured that investigations are ongoing to uncover the full network behind the supply and distribution of the seized substances.
