Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has expressed distress after the Ogun State Police Command declared him wanted.
A publication from the Magistrate Court in Ogun State was released and shared online on Monday, revealing that the state police accused Portable of conspiracy, serious assault, being armed, breaching public peace, and attempted murder through the recruitment of armed thugs.
The arrest warrant is linked to an incident that occurred on 5 February 2025, according to the police statement.
In response on Tuesday, Portable denied the allegations in a now-deleted Instagram story. He demanded that the police provide evidence of the claims, specifically asking for proof of the supposed altercation with government officials.
He wrote, “I no kill person I no fit Run from God if anything happen to me na Big Wahala make them post where we fight them for my bar make them post evidence say I fight them evil people them lie against us God never Lie ZAZUU God dey where I dey.”
