President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led government has advised Nigerians to seek additional sources of income amid economic hardship facing the country.
Speaking on Tuesday, during a program on Channels Television, Special Adviser to President Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga stated that depending on a single income is insufficient.
He said: “Find something else to augment your income. You cannot live on one income.
“If you find a farm land near you, cultivate it, grow your crops, so that it can reduce your expenses on someone.
“These are practical things you can do to survive the present economy, people just have to find solutions on their own to do this.”
Mr. Onanuga further explained that current administration inherited numerous issues from the former president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
He added that recent data published by National Bureau of Statistics has proven that Tinubu’s government is implementing measures to improve the country’s economy.
Gistmania reports that many Nigerians have been lamenting over economic hardship, describing removal of subsidy on petrol as insensitive decision.
Many have also faulted President Tinubu over some policies made by his government, saying that things are not getting better.
