The Special Adviser on Economic Affairs to President Bola Tinubu, Tope Fasua has asked Nigerian youths to use the time they spend on abusing government and big men on social media to learn a skill.

The presidential aide stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Tuesday’s edition.

He called on Nigerians to position themselves for the ‘goodies’, arguing that “people are making money” in this country.

Fasua said the Nigerian economy was ticking off, and anyone who failed to position themselves would not have anyone to blame if left behind.

Quote
“What I’ve said very clearly is that the opportunities are there. Open your eyes and stay positioned. Look, if somebody makes themselves unemployable they will have issues.

“But if you avail yourself, even if it was training, there are free trainings online that someone can go for. It’s either you’re using the time to abuse the government and big men whoever they are on the internet or you are taking a training to reposition yourself for better employment.

“So, time has changed. Nobody is saying that people should continue to suffer. No. And of course…people will usually say when they’re suffering but when people get advantage you won’t hear anything.

“In this same country somebody lost over $3 million which was equivalent to over N6b. A comedian or something, he lost it to FX gambling.

“You wouldn’t have known that someone in that realm had N6b and of course he still has some more money today. So, we’re not saying that people should suffer. We’re saying that already, the economy is ticking off….”

It’s  best our  youth stick to internet.

If they spent time learning “life skills” from the older generation of Nigerians - they’d ALL BE CORRUPT!

Firstly, shut the phyuk up!
Second, "opportunities are there", what are you then doing running around for "special adviser" job??
Third, we all know "special advisers" don't do shit,  they just warm bench and get paid month end because no Nigerian politician takes any advice from a "special adviser". The positions are just political gratification. If it's a lie, tell us one single advice you've given T-pain that he took.
Lastly, shut the phyuk up again because nobody needs your advice, not even the person that made you a "special adviser"!
