Renowned American singer Taylor Swift has made history once again, setting a new streaming record on Spotify.
The multiple Grammy-winning artist has become the first female musician to surpass 100 billion streams across all credits on the platform, further solidifying her position as one of the most influential figures in modern music.
A review of her Spotify account confirm that she has exceeded 100 billion streams, establishing her as the first female artist to reach this milestone.
The feat was confirmed by music statistics account Chart Data and pop culture platform Pop Base on Tuesday February 25, 2025.
Last year, Forbes recognised Swift as the first musician to achieve billionaire status solely through her music and performances.
Streaming royalties played a major role in contributing to her $1.6 billion fortune.
Taking to the X platform, Chart Data wrote, “Taylor Swift officially becomes the first female artist in history to earn a milestone 100 billion streams on Spotify.”
