Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has taken legal action against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert over allegations that she was involved in affairs with wealthy men, including an ex-lover of Hilbert’s from Benin.
In a series of videos that surfaced online, Hilbert accused Etiko of being romantically linked with affluent men, commonly referred to as "Odogwu," and allegedly taking over her former partner, who owned a Mercedes-Benz.
Reacting to the claims, Etiko’s legal team has filed a petition demanding that Hilbert retract the statements across all social media platforms. The petition, which describes the accusations as false and damaging, also seeks ₦100 million in damages for defamation.
The legal document further requests an immediate halt to any further publication of defamatory remarks against Etiko. The actress insists the allegations were deliberately made to tarnish her image and mislead the public.
As the controversy unfolds, fans and industry insiders are closely watching to see how the case develops, with many awaiting Hilbert’s official response.
