Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 25-year-old woman, Emmanuella Ogochukwu, and her younger brother, Ogbuka Tochukwu, 22, over allegations of orchestrating a robbery targeting her boyfriend, resulting in the theft of three iPhones and bitcoin valued at ₦15 million.

The unnamed victim lodged a complaint, prompting an investigation that led to Ogochukwu’s arrest. Following her confession, Tochukwu was tracked down and detained.

According to a police report obtained by SaharaReporters, the case was initially reported at Okota Police Station before being escalated to a specialized investigative unit on February 17, 2025.

Police confirmed that both siblings admitted to the crime. Authorities recovered the stolen iPhones and ₦6.5 million, which were registered as evidence.

The statement further revealed that operatives are continuing efforts to apprehend other accomplices still at large.

“The investigation remains ongoing to ensure all members of the gang face justice,” the report noted.
