You think that if God had his way, he would not have put a flaming sword between Eve and the Forbidden fruit to prevent her from eating it? God is a just God. He is also a loving God. this why he does not force his will on anyone. He gives free will to make your own decisions without him imposing his choice on you. He gives equal opportunities to all Human beings, good or bad. The only thing he will not allow is for a good person to die before the time allotted to him. Bad things happen to all people, whether good or bad in nature. God never told you that when you repent, it would be the end of all your problems on earth. He just told you that repenting and turning from your evil ways would assure you of Heaven when you leave this world. If anyone thought that being a Good christian would mean the end of trials, problems and temptation than that person is wrong. The only thing is that when you have trials, call on him and he will provide an answer. Some times your trials are simply his ways of either preparing you for what he has in store for you or helping you gather experience so you can survive in this world. Most diseases have a vaccine which you take to protect yourself from them. the vaccine is simply a weakened form of the disease which your immune system can fight so that it will be able to kill the disease when it tries to infect you in the future. So, also God lets you go through hard times to prepare for future trials. He loves you but he will not pamper you no matter what you mean to him. Bad things are just God's way of building you up face future problems with greater confidence.
