This story is 100% true. The reporter did not even report all the shamefull things these villagers do in the name of culture and tradition even in this moderm age. This Aku community has the highest number of professors compared to other communities around them but from all indications, these educated people from this community just pass through the school without the school passing through them. What should be done is to enlighten people from this town to abolish all these acient idol worship and cultism. Churches (especially penticostal and burn again) should be allowed to evangalize the people. The community which has the highest population in Nsukka has only two churches (St James and St Thomas). Most of their church goers are also members of these odo cults. Concerted evangelization crusades should be mounted by people of God to rescue these people from the clutches of these evil forces.
