why do ladies like their boyfriend/husband giving them a pet name instead of their original name? few days ago, my guys girlfriend, refused answering the guys calls for over 2 days all because the guy said "hello" when she called instead of darling, dear bla bla, most times, a guy will get a new chick, after few days of knowing her, the nest thing she will do is to resave her name in ur phone with one pet name......IS IT MANDATORY A GUY MUST CALL HIS GURL A PET NAME?

not mandatory but most girls love pet names..though i like going girls pet name oo,but the name i gave the formal one must be different from the new one..

She has to behave like a pet to be called with names. pets are respectful, decent, not angry, open minded and above all not proud etc. how does she behave??

i don't see anything wrong with calling you woman a pet name. i think it's romantic and besides it shows the level of closeness between them. 90% of ladies would love to be called pet names.
