it's not true that married life brings respect. its about maturity. if marriage was good then there will be no divorce, cheating and family meetings. if we singles are scared to be married (caged) is what we see from married couple. most live an unhappy life. sleeping in separate rooms.

its a choice you make. in my opinion, marry is a cage and once in hard to get out. most couple live for people ( what people will say). Happiness is much important than anything in the world.

Either single or married has its own advantages too, if you were able to marry and be comfortable go ahead that may be the wish of God for you but if there is no man who comes for your hand in marriage stay single and enjoy yourself don't look for a man by all means because it may not be ordained by God. Follow the will of God; single ladies can adopt kids.

Sophiebaby I read this and am appalled by where you are coming from or going. It's just a pity how we allowed our Western lifestyle continue to brainwash us. It's not enough one man one woman and now being single is a good idea right. I believe you'll not be far away from being a mouth piece for the Gays and Lesbian on this site as well.I read you have a book coming out and would like to sell,but with this your writing many would prefer to stay away from because the moral ground would be compromised reading it. All these are WRONG reasons to get married. Personally, i don't believe in marriage and i can't see ANYTHING a man "gains" from marriage that he can't get WITHOUT getting married. It's a bad venture for today's modern man unless we want to deceive ourselves.

As a foot note, i believe that people should get married ONLY if they feel the need to be married and for that purpose ALONE! For example, there's this European married couple i know that have been married for eleven years and it was only last year they decided to start trying for a baby. They got married because they wanted to be married and not because of kids,sex or whatever lame reason people delude themselves as being the "right reasons" to get married.
