before u react on ur wife, hear her first(because some mother in laws are very wicked and can go extra mile to make ur marriage fail) if her reasons are good enough, warn her not to try that next time.

My Sweetie no fit misbehave like that, but let me answer the
question for the sake of some dudes with mentally imbalanced wives.

...between me and she, one person will go to jail for murder
and the other to the nearest mortuary.

If me no fit slap my mama in and out of moods,
I no see any reason why a friend go even think abt am.

If my mama offend u, come give me all the slaps and u go get chance to explain.

If my wife respect me, in my absent has no right what so ever to dare try that. She know very well that i cannot do that to the mum nor Father.
She has no regard at all,and should be returned Home to the Parents, learn manners. I believe they will take the right action for me,even not to come back again. Is great assult, an indicipline child from bad background.

abi ooooo, that wont be funny at all, infact so many men prefer their mothers to their fathers,no amount of tolerance and love will make them blink and pass such an act, they will definately react no matter what ever lead to that urgly incident.Women should learn to respect their inlaws and i prefer to stay at arms length with a mother in law to avoid this kind of situation.

and if your mother was the one tht slapped her what will happen

Now, that is an entirely different thing. There is nothing I can do than take my wife aside and apologize to her if I was able to deduce that my mother was the wrong party. Of course, I'll tell my mother not to do such again. Besides I know my own mother; she can't do that to start with.

yes Cheesy you see why itz is biased if your wife did that u will give her three slap if ur mother does that u will apologize to your wife and will do nothing to your mother , that is biased , let judgement b fair independent of person , if someone does something to provoke another person it is not right it should b treated, i was in such case my stepmother was terrible my dad even after she beats will still beat me untop of her own beating , i tried top explain severally to my b´dad but he was not interested , one day just becos my litlle sister didnt pick up a cup she beat my sistere back till it was sore and bleeding and didnt stop until ai drew my sister away and threathened to fight her , but what did my father do nothing much if i was d one dat did dat to his wife hell will b let loosed , i stood up for myself at a poiint when i saw there was npo justice and there nobody der i protected my sister and myself , i didnt care anymore what he tought or what he wanted , i did what i felt was best for me and my sister , but she was always a thorn in the flesh but i endured and when it was tooo much i retaliated in fighting ,  well everybodythat was my fathers relative were not allowed to stay in my fathers house but all her family members were living and governing our house , but thats past tense

and another place where u were biased u will like to know if it was your mothers fault or what happened but if it was your wife u wont bother to knopw u will just give the final verdict, u said ur mother cant do that cois she is GOD and  not human but your wife certailny can and deserved to b punished , its more like fighting ur wife for your mother not judging and knowing what happened , that is just biased and very unfair to the person suffering the insults and oppression

It is not normal for a daughter in-law to beat a mother in-law. mothers is always to be respected, tolerated and submission, not to drag words with them, especially when you notice anger on their face. you know the best thing to do, do it don`t show weakness. but if such happens. men`s ''never make the mistake to call your wife in the presence of your mother to find out the deference's'' doing so will cost more fire to the matter. after knowing from your wife or from your mother, the cause of problem, educate your wife how to run away, when ever such point charge. mothers they love good & sweet words, make them friend. you can change matters with understanding. even if that person hates, she most find reasons to love you.
