I don't know how ridiculous they r,but they could come up with many excuse,to avoid this step!
For ex.,that "marriage is old fashioned"! They'll point to things like: d high divorce rate,d nr. of couples living together & so on!
Another 1 is about that "piece of paper" issue!That marriage is for people who need a piece of paper to validate their relationship. And again I must ask :"if it's really just a piece of paper,then why it's such a big deal for u to sign it?
If u give them what they want,BEFORE, then why would he bother himself with such a big commitment!?
So maybe u could say "ok we dont need to marry but also dont have sex b4 marrige", let's see what they say.
He may still try to persuade u,but...cut ur losses & don't waste ur time.If u don't do it, then don't be surprised if he dumps u or continues to drag u through a completely unsatisfying relationship.
Don't let his sweet talks/sweet nothing, fool u. They r much easier to say than "I'm just not that into u." But we all know that actions speak louder than words!
Every man u've ever dated who has said he doesn't want to get married or doesn't believe in marriage,or that he has marriage "issues" ,will definitely someday be married. It's just that will never be with u.
