What is this life turning into. follow me read this OWERRI — Imo State Police Command is currently trying to unearth the reasons a young man (names withheld) of Eziala Nguru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, allegedly beheaded his uncle, Emmanuel Ugo.
Vanguard investigations revealed that the suspect had a heated argument last Thursday with the deceased over a yet-to-be ascertained issue. Midway into the argument, he ran into his room, brought out a sharp cutlass and, according to an eyewitness, beheaded his uncle.
The same young man dealt severe cuts on his own father for allegedly daring to question him on why he killed his uncle.
Sympathizers at the scene of the incident quickly rushed his father, who was bleeding profusely, to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
When contacted on his mobile line, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Linus Nwaiwu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident but quickly added that he did not have details of the incident.
He said: “The suspect has been arrested. I do not have details of the ugly incident now but the police is already investigating the serious crime.
“The law will definitely take its full course at the end of police investigation.”
