On a serious note Sophie, i dont think moving out of ur mum's home is the best......no matter what happens, mothers will always be mothers........your mum is looking out for you just as u are looking out for this ur jewel.........I agree she should have told you first to avoid embarrassment, but remember that one day this jewel of urs would start a home of her own and you would be left on your own......you need companion, if not now but when u are elderly.....think about it........

Hmmmmmmmm DP..

My dear Sophie, on a serious note, dont go living on your own.....it is not the best for a single lady......I know what am saying.......stay with mum and take whatever comes, becos some people would give anything to be under their parents......if you see someone cool, settle down........those who ended up without husbands are not happy not having one.....na just management.....

I believe what u said..but seeing her reminding me evry mrng abt those guys and their intensions..makes me angry

Hmmm! I wish i had a mother like that to look out for me!
There's a proverb in my place thats says
"WHAT AN ELDER SEES WHILE SITTING, A CHILD WILL NOT EVEN IF HE CLIMBS A LADDER"
Moving out wil not make things better, have a heart to heart talk with ur mum and tell her how grateful u are for having her but that ur not ready and she'l keep praying for you! Evry MUM wants the best for their children.  U need a man in ur life, we all need a man/woman in our lives. If u don't want ur mum's choice then choose one amongst ur friends, there is a man out there who would love ur dauta as much as u do, and respect ur wishes as regards her future.

Two suitors! God! Aren't u lucky!

DP u are right, u've said it all.

Sophie morrow ur baby won't be there for u cos she'll be making her home and life happy then, who will u be with? Hmmm i love my child just as u love urs, am even ready to lay my life for her if it get to that but your own happiness is another thing entirely. Your mum loves u just as u love ur baby.

Be cool with MUM she just want the best for u, but then shine ur eyes my dear make sure whoever u'll settle with either now or later must be ready to love ur child like his.

Thats what am Avoiding..cos they may pretend now and later show themselves later on

Am lucky yes..

God! i wish i get one, that will love her and respect my wishes as regards her future..She sees herself brighter than Mine..and i see it like that too..Men like this are rare..some will pretend to like her and later change their mind, if i finally agree and get married to whoever

Well, i understand it puts pressure on your young shoulders.......I know how it feels,,,,,,,but talk to her about what her actions do to you.......tell her to give you time to cool down and fashion a way forward......All mothers wanna see their daughters get married.....it is a joyful thing for them, so pls understand her........
