Do think American value money more than their reputation?, if that was Nigeria banks they would have continue the relationship without considering the future of the bank. I think maybe the bank has find out something that may likely tarnish the image of their bank

HSBC do not belong to the British, it's a owned by Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and as a matter of fact, that is the meaning of HSBC and it was founded in Hong Kong in 1965 according to what I have in my HSBC palm-fleet but however, they have a co-operate head qtr in London. Nigerians with permanent residence in Hong Kong and in the UK can still open an account till date with the bank.
