SON SUBJECTED BIOLOGICAL MOTHER TO SEX ABUSE

A New Zealand man given up for adoption has allegedly subjected his biological mother to more than 12 months of " horrific segxwal, physical and psychological" abuse after tracking her down.

The abuse is said to have begun on Mother's Day last year.

The 28-year-old welder, who cannot be named for legal reasons, paid his biological mother a surprise visit in April last year, the New Zealand Herald reports.

The woman had put her son up for adoption after getting pregnant as a teenager.

On May 9 last year the alleged abuse began and took place in Tauranga and Whangaparaoa, Auckland.

Police arrested the man after the woman's co-workers confronted her about her injuries.

The son is facing 17 charges including rape, segxwal violation, indecent assault, assault and threatening to kill.

One source told the NZ Herald she put up with the "horrific segxwal, physical and psychological" abuse because she felt guilty for giving him up for adoption.

The man, who court documents list as living at a Takapuna address, appeared in the North Shore District Court on May 23 — two days after the last alleged offence occurred.

He was remanded in custody and will appear again this week.

Wonderments shall never end. Was this supposed to be some kind of sick revenge? He needs to get checked into a psychiatric hospital cause I'm sure he's not mentally stable.
