The suspect sure has his rights as enshrined in our constitution.In my understanding,the expatriate resought to self-help when the laws of the land provided punishment for whatever crime the suspect may have committed.Surely,the spinal cord injury and the permenant disability staring the guy on the face would not have been the punishment for his offence under our laws.The man sure deserves a compensation.

@hosbert
With that ur post am very sure u are 1 of his gang, someone who went to steal, still has the mouth to ask for compensation, what a shame and disgrace he is to his family

He has a right to compensation. He was only a trespasser with burglary intentions but not an armed robber. He was apprehended and should have been handed to the police instead of some murderous foreigner who did not value Nigerian life to take the law into her own hands by attempting murder.

I hail thee Danpatrick for your accomplished comments I have come across repeatedly on NP.

I'm not in support of his act trying to rob another person off his/her hard earn property/money.......... but why should they push him down from 3 story buildings in first place, it means they wanted him dead, when he's already caught on his mission, Why ?? why ?? are we humans so silly and harden heart without mercy, what is different between the pusher and the person he pushed ( Burglar), for me nothing is different because they posses the same kind of heart, without fear of God and remorse for what they do, we ought to think before we act, as matured and enlighten people, when you caught him, hand him over to the police or appropriate authority that sees to such cases not trying to take laws into your hands by taking someone's life and  you still kneel down and pray to God...........Now he's gonna be paralyzed for sure, anything that affects spinal cord to that limit is not a good sign, is like killing someone with a deadly virus.

This remind me of what happen in American some time early last year. where a retired old man shoot and killed two burglars that rubbed his opposit neigbhour's house even after he was advised by Emergency dispatcher(999) not to shoot the burglars, while still on the phone with the dispatchert and the burglar's where about to run away with their spoils, he shot and kill them and nothing was done to him. the family now went to court claiming that he's told not to shoot, yet nothing was done to him. SO ABOKI MAKE YOU DEY MANAGE AND THANK YOUR GOD SAY YOU SEE ROAD TO TALK. THIEF Tongue Tongue Tongue.

He's a human who should face justice 4 his misdemeanor instead of some expart taking the law into her unsteady but murderous hands.

A burglar is a human being first and a burglar secondary.
