the man should be the one that will bring the items and money for the bride price,  and in some cases the brides family do help out with some bills for the musician, food, drinks e.t.c

I wasnt told, I witnessed it.......I have brothers and sisters............when my sister got married, we took part of the bill and when my big brother got married, his bride's family took part of the bill..........so I speak from what I have witnessed here.......kpom!
