What sort of nonsense is this? Selfish? What is selfish in her decision to remain unmarried. Again, African mentality on display. I said it before and will say it again. Jesus Himself said in the Bible that marriage is not for everyone and to those that do want to get married, the laws to follow are there for you. This is absurd really. She said herself that there is nothing in marriage that "thrills her." Enough said, marriage it seems, isn't for her. As for a child, are there not millions of orphans everywhere in the world including Nigeria to call your own? Come on, we need to come out of this darkness and embrace the new era. There is nothing wrong with a woman making decisions for herself. it is not by force at all. Afterall, there are some who get married later in life which is absolutely ok as well. Geez, this ish really irritates the crap out of me for real. Absoultely ridiculous!

This is interesting, you have done well my sister , one thing you must know is this , Love is a thing of the heart , and you alone can decided the kind of life you want to live on Earth. accepting a man you did not choose for your self is the greatest mistake you will ever make in your life , let no one , brother, family choose for you. I know the right man will come for you and all you have to do is to live by your words ,,your family will only push you into marriage , but they will not be there when you are passing through the pains , sleepless night and dislike, what the family want is what they will eat today forgetting that you are the one going to be inside for the rest of your life. Give them time do away from them , cut every communication with every one of them now. we build our family from the street , ur friends , people that are good to you , that understand you are your family, those one from home will lead you to death and your down fall. Travel if your money is not enough to travel out ..i will support you .. the man God has keep for you will locate you soon. Happiness is what we need in marriage .God will give you your man in Jesus names . Safe Trip My Sister.

I am very proud of her she did what was best for her. I dont think its selfish,because its her life not yours ( the poster) nor her family. I wish her good luck and may God bless her with a PhD and a husband after IJN amen

well i believe the woman did the right thing
she is actually waiting for God for the right time and right person.

What selfishness is there in her decision.The elders are just meddlers and should learn to know their boundaries.Am in support of the lady's decision and I know that she will definitely get married in time.No because someone pressured her into it.Again it will be a sorry story in her parents goes along with the community.What arrant nonsense.
