It is very surprising to read the kind of comments Nigerians write on NP. The question is how can I be happy when an Islamic Sect just bombed UN building in my country? If these people Bomb my family house would I be congratulating them for doing so because Nigerian Govt has failed? True there are so many things Nigerian govt has to deal with and one of them is security....no question about that. Let us ask ourselves few questions here. 1. These Bombs the Boko Haram people are using are locally made with gas cylinders...so which place are these bombs manufactured? 2. who sponsors this? 3. Where do they meet up to plan their targets? 4. They surely use phone calls I presume...how is it that Nigerian security operators cannot hack into their phone calls? 5. How can an Islamic sect in the north travel all the way from north to the State capital to carry out its operation without any clues? 6. Am I safe wherever I am in this country at the moment? Absolutely no! because they can reach anywhere at the moment. What will should be saying now is for the govt to stand up and face the reality before this country turn to be another Afghanistan. If we are congratulating Boko Haram for bombing UN building in ABJ we are making a big mistake..After all have many expatriates died in this incidence? It may be just few and the rest of other people will be our Nigerian brothers and sisters. A saying in my language goes......"The firewood that was not in fire stood by the side and laughed at the one in fire....forgetting that in a short time it will also be thrown to the same fire..." It is time we join hands and say no to any terrorists attack...!! Reply

This is bad for our country Nigeria. Mr. president should do something about these Boko Haram immediately or better still move the sit of power to Bayelsa since they have decided to make conditions at Abuja difficult for him to disseminate his functions as president. Reply

Quote from: typicalman84 on 26-08-2011 07:01 PM Why is it that every country with a lot of muslims end up being a Bombing Arena... Please, if this will continue to happen, divide Nigeria and give the muslims one part and leave the other part for the peace=loving citizens... Call their country North Nigeria. And they should not be allowed to enter the Main Nigeria. How do you propose to divide the country? Are you assuming there are no 'peace-loving citizens' in your proposed 'North Nigeria'? Which part of Nigeria will you put the muslims from the south? I know there are millions of peace-loving yoruba muslims. Would you force them into the 'North Nigeria' since you want to give the muslims their own country? What happens to the millions of christians in the north central zone living side by side with muslims in peace? Mehn we need to be realistic!
