A lot of people on this forum are getting it wrong. There is a big difference
between 'asset' and 'investment'. A woman (asset) is someone who is
working side by side with you to achieve an objective, while a woman
(investment) is someone you are exploiting to achieve your selfish goal.

Men sometimes refer to their partners as "investments", understandably because of the amount of time, money and material they spend in maintaining their woman. This has sometimes led to some men tagging their women as an asset.

Ladies, what do you think? do you find this offensive or disrespectful in anyway? Considering that you are human like men too, is it fair to be tagged an "asset"?

Let me know your opinion on this one.

hmm the world "asset" could mean different thing in different ways.it all depend how it's use in a sentence..it could be a positive compliment such as 'valuable stuff with qualities' or a negative compliment to women. coz its also means 'property'..so most women we think of it in a negative way.as in, seeing them as property.

The word 'asset' is not used in its literary sense to mean 'property' but figuratively to denote 'extreme value'.

very well said mr gibson.
we are in agreement to your comment.

I agree that every woman is an asset because every woman has different qualities. Every woman is unique in her own way which means she has something to contribute.

Some women complain a lot. You are either an asset or a liability. If you reject one, you have accepted the other. The same goes for men. Asset is a thing of value. If not what are you? A partner? Partners are meant to complement themselves but can be liabilities or assets to themselves based on certain circumstances. Is a thing of joy to be an asset so stop complaining.
