Boy shoots teacher, then kills himself

A 10-year-old Brazilian student has shot and wounded his teacher with a pistol, then killed himself with two bullets into his head.
Thursday's shooting happened at a public school in Sao Caetano do Sul, an industrial suburb on the outskirts of Sao Paulo.

City hall spokeswoman Gisele Lopes says the boy fired a .38-caliber revolver at teacher Rosileide Queiros de Oliveira, wounding her in the left hip.

Lopes says the boy ran out of the classroom and shot himself in the head. He died at the hospital an hour later.

The spokeswoman has released no further information on the boy.
