here is my take on it, if I was you I will pay for it especially if he good company or just pay for myself if he is a creep (he can deal with the restaurant). I wont even act like it is a big deal. Of course it goes without saying that I wont be pursuing any sort of relationship with him. As a lady, we shud b prepared for the worst, some guys r creeps n sometimes emergency really do happen, but instead of playing childish games n looking cheap, I will rather just pay for it n then walk away. Another thing you might want to consider is the fact that he might be testing you- very stupid test but...
