Rather than gallantly surrendering, he tucked tail and ran for it. What type of hero was that? A hero that was willing to sacrifice his tribesmen for his personal ambition? He ravaged the land and cannot be remembered for anything but a bragging general -- half a million men dead, others dying and he's still bragging he's winning the war!
