The problem with a man of God eating with politicians- especially those of questionable character- is that the man of God could lose the moral standing which enables him to speak out against the ungodly and unjust actions of the politicians. In essence, his character could become tainted due to too-frequent and too-close assoiation. What does the bible say about being yoked with unbelievers? Also remember the saying: Evil association corrupts good manners? A word is enough for the wise!
