In the clip, secretly filmed on the 29 bus between Wood Green and Trafalgar Square, a blonde woman is seen hurling abuse at a male passenger before she appears to punch him.
The unnamed woman, wearing a white t-shirt, is first heard screaming the word 'c***' repeatedly and other passengers appear to be laughing.
She is then heard shouting at the passenger: 'I'm a great white c***' before adding: 'Do you know what, I really don't know whether you're afro-bian, (sic) Caribbean'.
The man replies: 'Honey, I just explained to you who the f*** I am'.
The woman, who is filmed holding herself up between two support poles in the corridor of the bus, responds: 'Who are you?' and he says: 'I am f****** English alright'.
She adds: 'Does anyone know who he is?'
After more ranting, much of which is inaudible, she tries to swing her legs towards the man as if to kick him. However, the attempt fails and she falls over on her back, but promptly gets back up and appears to swing her fist towards his face instead.
The passenger responds by appearing to lunge towards her and others watch as he tries to stop her hitting him. He is heard saying: 'Sit the f*** down', as he battles to stop her. One passenger, who appears to be the person filming the episode, is heard saying 'Oh my god' repeatedly in shock.
Others are heard shouting to the bus driver to stop the bus before she appears to leave.
