![-]( "Anthonyboy") Anthonyboy at 14-01-2012 05:39 PM (12 years ago) (m) The subsidy removal is good for our country economy, what the President did would have helped our country, his intensions are for good of this country, we wanted a President that will turn our country around for good so thats what he is doing, he alone has the boldness to do it, the past leaders could not because they feared what will be the out come by putting us into moro dept and then it ended up in there pocket/bank account.Bad news is that its a pity that the subsidy is affecting the poor masses, there iss nothing that the President will fight to turn Nigeria around that will not affect our country, if he fights corruption it will affect the poor,if he fights crimes it will affect the poor, nothing that he fights today will affect all those who looted away with our money in the past and If Nigeria can not survive during GJE term then it will take so many years again, the labour is not doing us any favor by protesting and striking, were they not around when all this depts were inflicted on the poor masses all these years, all we want is a President that will come and make things easy for us and put us in dept more,this Generation will only take the pain if they want the future Generation to be better. the masses are right for themself (Fact). My Brothers,it's time we calm down and reason like good people that we are and not back biting the President.A lot has been said to this man,so many names has been given to him,so many has cartooned him in different ways and pattern.,some say is a fool,some say he is weak,some say he is greedy,some say he is lazy,some say that they regret voting him,some say he is badluck,some say he is not doing anything to the country.
We all have to know that President GEJ did not woke up one morning and increase fuel price some bad eggs around him leads him to that.Come to think of it,Goodluck is not the First President of Nigeria to Increase fuel price.Our past leaders has been doing that long ago before Goodluck came in.
OBJ was the first President to increase fuel price,in Oct First 1978 this day was sunday,and sunday is a resting day for the people,OBJ increased fuel from 7kobo-15kobo. IBB came and Increase Fuel from 9 naira -11 naira per litter and we did not shout.Abacha increase Fuel,no body talk,there was no demonstration.
OBJ and IBB came back again and ruled as civilian they also increased fuel and no one said anything.Few days for OBJ to hand over to Yaradur,he increased this same fuel again from 65 naira to 140 naira,it is this same Goodluck that went in and reduce to price back to 65per litter.
Now it has come to Goodluck just because he is from the minority side of the country,everyone want to kill him.I am not saying that the fuel increase is good but at least it does not worth all the names insult we are giving to him.He has bad leaders around him manipulating him.
Some says he never do any thing like the quote i have above,no road,no electricity,no water,no employment and so on.Yes but
We have to know that this government is just like a new born baby,a government that is less than 8months,what can he do within this short period of time.
The issue of bad roads,unemployment,No electricity,corruption,no water,collapse industries,fuel increment etc,has been in existence in Nigeria before President Good luck came in.
OBJ ruled for several yrs as a military,yet we do not have roads,no electricity,no job,no industry,he increase fuel and nothing was done to him.He came back ruled another 8 phyuking yrs,nothing was done.
IBB ruled as a military for many years,came back ruled another 8 phyuking yrs,yet no change in social amenities.
Abacha ruled for 8yrs and there was no change in our electricity sector,no Job employment,no good road and nothing,we still face the same problem.
Now everyone want Goodluck J to turn Nigeria to Tokyo in Japan,Paris in France,London in UK,New York in USA,Ottawa in Canada over night just within 8 months of government.
How can he do that within this short period of time,when other spend more 12yrs in the government without doing any thing to Nigeria and Nigerians.
Again our so called ex presidents(who has failed us before yet wants to come back again) and the Northerners who suppose to support him in his government has vowed to make his government un governable using boko haram to disstablize his government causing Problem everywhere just because power left the North to South South.
I am not there but i can read the mindset of our Presido within me,He is not happy that his people is sad and complaining but believe me the people around him can't let him Preside well for the Affairs of the country.
