It's absolutely optional with islamic faithful. So muslim women,is your choice if you decide  to choice your father or family name  and your husband should understand this. It doesn't mean you don't love him or whatever. So ƒor those  ‎​who have daughters  ‎​who  are scared that their name will go extinct, this is an option that muslim have. So muslim women, learn your religion yourself  and from rightly guided people too esp the right of muslim women cos some sheik  are taken advantage of this  to oppress you. Some won't teach you want they feel they will benefit from. How can they ban women from driving. As ƒor Christian faithful, not really sure about marriage name.
