 Was with this guy for close to 3 yrs but then we broke up.Am with someone else now and he is a really lovely person,but the thing is i love the other guy nd cant seem to get over him.For every time i try to give my self reasons y we sldnt b together and how am better off, i still come to the same conclusion am in love with him.What makes it worse is that he feels the same way, we cant seem to get over each other  nd the fact that we r apart hurts. Most times i find my self thinking bout him nd missing him and then i cry.
 For some reason we cant  get back together cps of issues of the past.Am ready to put the past behind me but but he cant i don't know y.  I don't know if am to call him selfish or is he just being human.I honestly dont know what to do.is it that when you love some one u never really get over the persn,s it love or time that heals. i honestly try to b happy but deep down am not.i need advise on what to do and even if he wants to get back wd me what do i tell the other guy.

U seem to love this guy so much, but u av to let him go... Start sumtin new with ur new guy, learn from ur past mistakes
If this guy truely loves u, then he won't even use the past as an excuse... rather he will be willing to open a new leaf with u.
Please, do not get too intimate with him... if he can't let go of the past then he doesn't love u...
Also, he might think (i don't know for sure o) that if u leave this guy for him, u might leave him for another guy u probably loved in the past.
let by-gone be by-gone.................

If this guy truly loves u he'll let d past stay where it belongs & continue d relationship wit u but on d other hand u didn't say wat happened...maybe d guy truly loves u but each time he looks @ u he can't help but think about d past & its eating him up inside.
Sometimes d best tin 4 us to do is d hardest tin.....tink back to wat happened.Do u tink he will ever get over it?If not i suggest u hit d road.Goodluck

Hey @ poster, i have been in ur shoes some time ago. I know it hurts very much remembering the past and moreover u two too still loves each,but i guess he can't let go of the past experiences with you. for that he can't come back with.
This ur state now should't be the end of the love.... love is just a feeling of action, it comes and goes. I'll suggest to you to leave other guy, i knw at times is easy to amend and continue with ur former love than starting a new one. Stick with your new guy and try as possible as u can to forget ur ex.
