he can propose if he wnt, bt if u later find out he doesn't hv d qualities u wnt in a man, u can gv him bck his engagement ring...shikena!

one week is too soon for a guy to propose cos u both dont know anything about each other. marriage is a lifetime thing so u have to be sure before you jump into a marriage so as not to jump out later and add to the increasing divorce rate.
on the other hand these days guys know ladies are desperate to get married, thats why they first propose cos thats wat they know girls want to hear.
  so be very careful cos he might want somethin from u (not good)

I think you should accept it and marry him if he is sincere and you are comfortable with him so far ...
many peeps have married for yrs and still got divorce so there is no guarantee that he is gonna be any different five or more yrs from now....
so  take your chance if you happy with him ,,,,,

Though the guy has been making enquiries about you before now, but honestly speaking, it is too early to engage you. Come to think of it, how much does he know about you and how much do you know about him? If you don't want those type of marriages that lasted for one or two years and then calls for divorce, then you should take your time to study and know more about each other first. There is point rushing into marriage, it is precarious!

The story is complicated dear, it depends on were u meet him? How long have u been communicating before now like phone calls and emails or wat? If u have had a long communication b4 seeing him in person then its ok,u don't need to date a man for 10 years to know him, but if its a one week stranger then that becomes suspicious, most guys will go any lenght just to get wat they want, a man proposed to 3 women in just two months, reasons yet unknown.
