Few weeks after returning from Nigeria where he had his first show after his Wife's death, Bobby Brown had been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Los Angeles on Monday, according to reports on both TMZ and Gossip Cop.
TMZ reports that the 43-year-old singer was pulled over in Reseda, Calif., just after noon for allegedly talking on a cell phone while driving. Gossip Cop says the ex husband of the late Whitney Houston was administered a field sobriety test by the California Highway Patrol and that he blew a 0.12.
Brown, who has been convicted of DUI in the past, was booked into the Van Nuys jail according to both reports.
Responding to a request for comment from Access Hollywood on Monday afternoon, Brown’s manager told Access that the singer had been released from jail and was home following the incident.
