If the split will be mutually agreed that will be great, but we need to ask ourselves,what happens when dialogue fails ?? what will be the next option ?? if it turns out to be an armed confrontation,how prepared is the south militarily??
My point is , wars are not won by mere rhetorics or wishful thinking but by preparedness and motivation , as it stands right now the north has an overwhelming military advantage over the south and the fillip to fight to death when push comes to a shove.
Nigerian government adopted an overwhelming generous policy on the issue of military. Let us not be confussed on the amount of destitute in those barracks up north, the programme is part of our way of showing solidarity with the north as one nation. Though they are dressed in military uniform but far from the real thing. Modern military configuration demands for adequate education in modern military technology.
