Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Nigerian Accused Of Insulting Governor On Facebook Released |
on: 3-02-2011 10:18 PM
| what is it that he said to the mr gov ? we need to know that in order to see if the young man had actually assulted the gov, we all knows the amounts of insults melted on the late president while still alive and in power and likewise we knew the amont of daily insult being passed on the former presido OBJ why should that of JIGAWA be difference ?
ds is d insult ooo..d guy go xtreme abeg The text reads: “O Allah destroy Sule Lamido and the rest of his friends, O Allah disgrace Sule Lamido and the rest of his cursed friends, O Allah curse Sule Lamido and the rest of his cursed friends, O Allah expose Sule Lamido and the rest of his cursed friends, O Allah inflict poverty on Sule Lamido and the rest of his cursed friends Amen and all those for prophet Muhammad (SAW) say Amen.” i dont care wat d boy must have written, it is still not enough reason for some half educated vagabond to subject him to such torture. i see u are a strong supporter of d damn gov bt i got a quick question 4 ya. wat do u tink pres. Bush of USA shld ve done wen a reporter took off his shoe and threw it at him? wat more insult is more dn that? do u knw how many insult pple rain on pres Obama evryday cos of d health reform issues? it is imperative for leaders to have EGO. it helps them to get thru any words spoken against them! see, this is democracy where pple can express d agony they feel. dont u get it? i am ashamed and insulted as a Nigerian by the gov's reaction to a young boy's statement. it shows the gov has got no ego for himself

| as much as am trying not to be biased, my scale keeps shifting ground. i wldnt dispute d fact that God calls his men to be rulers (God choses whoever He likes nomatter who d person is) bt in Nigeria's case, this wldnt be d 10th time that known men of God would "claim" that God call(ed) them to be either president or the vice. My questions are, are these pple toying with God's name so they can win pple's vote? or is it really true? The God i know says wat HE WANTS AND IT HAPPENS but so far, these men of God havent gotten a ground in Nigerian political system. if this is some kinda pranks....they had better stop it!!! | | |

| UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN NIGERIA IS RANKED 2262 WORLD WIDE 2010. 5000 or what you people write is wrong very wrong and can discourage our children going to school. Even their ranking mostly have to do with funitures and fittings, env, and so on. A1 graduate in the first university of the world can nerver beat A2 student of university of Ilorin academically. The most intelligent people in America, find out are Nigerian. some few days ago the FBI came to Nigeria to help arrest a guy in Nigeria who was able to manipulate through the net, transfer huge money from one bank he has no acccount to his legitimate bank, Rubish, world rank university, world rank university
thank u very much. exactly wat i have written. the ranking is based on nice buildings and furnitures...

| not until i see the details about the rating versities and break-down before i will believe in this post , we commented on the rating the unilorin the best in nigeria just about 6 months ago , so i come it will fell to number 2262 now ? i agree with you. i am not saying Nigerian universities r d best but one of the best unis in the united states (which i attend) cant stand the uni of Ilorin in terms of academic excellence. i know it sounds crazy n ironical bt the truth is "great students make great schools". though the enviroment in most naija uni isnt conducive for learning bt one thing is certain, naija students (serious ones) r known to pull thru even the worst situations dt students in other countries cant. aside beautiful campuses, numerous computer systems, up-to-date techs, and relevant texts that foreign schools have which naija schools dont, no skool in the world can beat naija skools!! | | |

| it upsets me a great deal when pple and Nigerian police authorities dance around and waste resources on icing-over- cupcake issues like this. fine, they got the boy arrested, they are going to charge him to court bt we hear the contrary when it comes to major armed robbery and killing cases that happen under d police force's nose. all we hear abt robberies is..we are investigating the issue and we will find d culprits. they will never investigate d poor boy's case since they already filed against him numerous charges. | | |

| 70% of nigerians are currently living below poverty,is not something new.how can nigeria improve ,when the leaders are only interested on their own selfish interest huh!.all they do is to fight each other for power& wealth, without even care about it citizens.change can only start from the top (serious commitment)cuz you and i can not make a significant change no matter how we try.is a pity from a country with such huge amount of natural resources cannot even boost for anything..shame on you our leaders, imagine 102 millions living below poverty level.in other words $1 per day.hmmm LORD HAVE MERCY on the vulnerable ones.
i agree to wat u said bt u made a statement which is a total fallacy to me.."change can only start frm d top". we wont move an inch forward if we continue to hold steadfast to dis ideology. change starts from every individual. the moment each n everyone of us accept d responsibilty to be an agent of change, i bet it wont take long b4 we celebrate a new Nigeria. change starts frm u and i. it starts frm d simple step of doing wat is right, e.g voting, enlightening other pple with d slightest opportunity, efforts to earn wat we worth( not a 100L student dreaming to own a 2011 lexus car), praying for our country, be positive towards our fellow citizen e,t,c i understand and agree with you on the issue of change coming from individuals.but i made that statement "change must come from the top"for a good reason & it get nothing to do with ideology. alright, let view it from a reality standpoint.if you,me & other good citizens of nigeria try to adapt to this so called change without the politicians partaken in it,my dear nothing i repeat nothing significant will happen cuz this bunch of fools are the core of nigeria.they are the law makers,so how can real change happen,if they don't take the initiative..huh? as for the issue of voting hmmm,i'm not yet convinced with its legitimacy.until they do so,then i'll believe that democracy does exist in nigeria. i understand u perfectly bt in reality as u ve said, do u want to compare d action n stupidity of 1% of Nigeria's population to the effect of change powerered by 25% of d population? it may sound crazy bt trust me, d day we cease to be scared of them is d day we r going to turn d table around. our main problem in Nigeria is we can talk, bt we cant take action exactly!you made a point,we nigerians talk too much without backing it with action..the 1% may look common compare to the 25% of the population you mention.but the power behind that 1% is so big & strong compare to the rest of of the population.they're in charge of wealth of the entire nation.the effect of change powered by 25% wouldn't be enough cuz they don't have enough restources, finance etc. to make a lasting change yes they are rich, they are powerful, they hold d country's treasure but they are twice as scared as we are. they knw quite alryt that dey cant superceed us, but they also knw that we are fool and will continue to folds our arms to watever they do. these pple know our weakness. they knw we are greedy and short sighted. they know we dont know 10% of our rights. they know we can never stand up to them. but, they are scared. they are scared bcos they dont know wat will happen if we change our mind n stand up to them. i admit dt change can happen over night bt drop by drop they say, make an ocean... ok let me go deep right now.my question now is;when are we going to stand up to them? are we going to continue to complain!complain!!complain!!! without action huh ?.yep! they're twice as scared as we are but,we are dumb as an illiterates(i know it sound hash but its the simple truth). just look at what's taking place in TUNISIA right now as i'm writing this.they stood up against intimidation, unemployment & hardship that has been going on in their country for 23years now.while we have been complaining about these same bunches of criminals for 50years now no action huh!.the tunisians are doing it by themselves God didn't descend from heaven to fight for them. but ours! is a different story.NOBODY WANT TO DIE BUT EVERYBODY WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN.is a pity, bunch of cowards.trust me b4 real and lasting change take place in nigeria they must be a price to pay.period!!! i absolutely agree with u 100% on this. now, it looks like we are trending d same path. we r actually fighting d same battle. we need to stand up aand let our voices be hrd. havent u noticed that most pple dont comment on issue like dis? they like to commment on stories dt wont take us anywhere. i am sure there wld have been more dn a thousand comments if d poster had written story abt dating or fashion. it is a pity that only few of us want to participate in dis change. i wish i had some powers to unveil d future to Nigerian youths so they can see d calamity before us....thank u so very much for ur comments, concerns and prayers for our country. God bless u. i will make sure i let u knw wat my strategies are in working towards d betterment of our country.
