83  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Shocker! Wife Denies Husband S*x For 10 years, Sleeps With Ex-Boyfriend on: 28-05-2012 06:10 PM

Although cases of family discord are always drama-filled, but it became more complicated beyond the everyday occurrence when the Ajalas came to court. Among the litany of complaints, the head of the family, Owolabi Ajala, A Lagos-based trader, alleged that his wife, Sikiratu Owolabi, denied him sex for over 10 years. The embittered 60 year-old father of three who further alleged that while he was being denied his due conjugal rights, his wife was busy giving it free to someone else who turned out to be her ex boyfriend.

He prayed that their 23 year-old marriage be dissolved by the Grade B Customary Court at Ijanikin, Oto, Lagos.
According to Owolabi, the couple got married in March 1989 according to Islamic rites at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Ebute Meta, where he paid a dowry of N800 for the divorced mother of three, at the time.

“Shortly after our union, Sikiratu started displaying her true colours. She never showed me care or respect as the man of the house.

Neither did she extend same to any member of my family”, the distraught Owolabi told the court. At that time, his wife was an employee of DHL Company and thus was more financially stable than he was. This he alleged gave her the upper hand to ride roughshod over him in their home.

He gave a specific instance. “I had a financial problem and humbly sought her help, she never obliged my request. That notwithstanding, I never relented in contributing in the little way I could to maintain the family. But instead of appreciating my efforts, she manipulated the minds of the children against me,” he lamented.

Looking straight into the eyes of his estranged wife who was standing directly opposite him right inside the court, Owolabi narrated another bitter experience.

“Aside the rejection and pains Sikiratu made me pass through, she also meted out ill-treatment to my late mother which I cannot forget. Before my aged mother passed to the great beyond, she was very ill and had to stay with me for proper care and attention. But instead of better health and quick recovery, my mother died out of neglect, because my wife never showed any concern”. The situation was as worse as for him to employ a house help to look after his mother despite having a wife and grown up kids at home.

The court heard the crux of the matter to the effect that peace efforts made by the aged man over a period of 10 years were truncated by his obstinate wife who went as far as to ban him from her bed, only for him to discover that she had been giving his right to someone else. His words:

“For the past 10 years, I haven’t enjoyed sex with my wife, we have been practically living like strangers in the same house. But I heard from a reliable source that she has been gracing the bed of her ex-husband; the man she had three children for but left him 25 years ago. When I confronted her on my findings, she didn’t deny it but in her characteristic arrogant way brushed it aside.”

Owolabi hit the heart of the matter squarely: “Worse still, she has polluted the minds of the children so deep that they joined their mother to fight me. My first daughter, Yinka, dared to follow her mother’s footsteps by grabbing my penis when we had a little misunderstanding. She used her fingers to inflict bruises on my private part.”

Avowing that he was tired and frustrated by the absurdity of their union, which had forced him to resort to taking sleeping pills every night to help soothe his nerves, Owolabi begged the court to dissolve their union and save him from untimely death.

His wife who had since packed out of their matrimonial home neither confirmed nor denied the allegations leveled against her. The mother of six unremorsefully told the court she had nothing much to say but would also wish that the marriage be dissolved. “I am equally tired of this marriage, please let the honorable court beg Owolabi to have the custody of his children and leave me alone,” she asserted.

After listening to both parties, the President of the court, Chief S. K. Hussein dissolved the union.

89  Forum / The Buzz Central / VACANCY! 21 Qualities Denrele Edun wants from His would-be-wife. on: 26-05-2012 07:39 PM
Are we the only ones who are seized with dread anytime we see the headline of an interview with TV presenter and red carpet fixture, Denrele Edun? You just know for certain that he will say the very first thing that pops into his head, and it’s not always the smartest thing.

Like today’s interview with the Punch. Or maybe it’s understandable. When you’ve been called gay for so long, and someone asks you about marriage you overcompensate. Call this the first in our new series: The Weird Interviews of Denrele Rajeev Edun Volume 1.

Denrele’s wife, in his own words:

1.“She has just got to have a flat tummy.”

2.“She has just got to have long legs.”

3.“She has just got to have a slim figure.”

4.“I need a woman who will like me for who I am: a weirdo.”

5.“I need a woman who will not try to change me because she will never succeed.”

6.“She must be neat.”

7.“She must be the type that wears clean underwear.”

8.“She must be ready to wear high-heeled shoes all the time like me.” (Does he wear them high-heeled shoes when he’s playing daddy and mummy?)

9.“The woman I will say, “Yes I do” to must not be afraid to flaunt her segxwality.” (Em, considering the meaning of ‘segxwality’ does that mean she has to let the world know if she is, say, straight, lesbian or transgender?)

10.“I mean, if a man doesn’t look at my lady, there is something wrong somewhere.”

11.“So, she must be a head turner.”

12.She must be able to cook because I like good food.

13.“Importantly, the lady that I will give the wedding ring should have a wild streak because I wake up every morning with a loud shout.”

14.“I expect my idea woman to do the same.” (what kind of shouting does a married couple do in the morni— Oh. Never mind.)

15.“I like my woman to have a reading habit.”

16.“She must be in love with books.”

17.“She should be able to talk because I am a chatterbox.”

18.“She must…”

19.“I expect…”

20.“I need…”

21.“I demand…”

Give her a cape, a Marvel Comics name, and her own superpowers and it’s apparent – Denrele wants a female “Avenger”.

Thankfully, all this is just by the way. Because, you see, even though he tells the interviewer he is “a ladies’ man”, he also says: “I’ve not achieved my goals yet. I’m still young. And to admit the truth, I’m too scared of the commitment of marriage right now.”

Darling, if we had your kind of list – we’d be scared too.
90  Forum / The Buzz Central / "I’m Gay And The Head Of Illuminati In Nigeria" - Charly Boy on: 26-05-2012 07:31 PM

Controversial maverick entertainment personality, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has set another record with his confession that he is gay. By so confessing, he becomes only the second publicly known gay man in Nigeria.

This is a record that Pastor Rowland Macaulay beat him to by being the first Nigerian to openly come out and even establish a church that catered for only gays. Those who know Charly Boy well however say he’s not someone who likes being a follower. He’s always a leader in everything he does and he’s now ready to take his rightful leadership position in the gay world. Continue to read…

In an interview with a new publication, Danfo Express, Charly Boy declared that he is gay and not ashamed of being gay.

Even as he made other disclosures about himself, he didn’t forget to add that he is the head of the Illuminati in Nigeria, the same Illuminati that people accuse Jay-Z, D’Banj and Don Jazzy of being members and they keep denying membership. While his audacious revelations might seem like a publicity stunt on his part, let’s not forget the popular saying ‘there’s no smoke with-out fire’. For Charly Boy to say all these things about himself there must be an element of truth in them.

As a judge on Nigerian Idol, not only did he impose himself on other judges, Yinka Davies and the American, Jeffrey Daniels, he was always going with a skull to the show and once even went with a huge snake that scared the audience.

http://tv.yahoo.com/daytime/woman-who-married-herself-29456246.html

This bizarre case of self marriage is rapidly increasing in today’s society. The woman above claims she doesn’t need a man to complete her. She said it’s about committing to changing her life. The 36-year old woman who hails from Fargo in North Dakota married herself just last month claiming she doesn’t need a man to be happy. Nadine Schweigert who stood up in front of the 45 guests at her wedding, she took the following vow: “I, Nadine promise to enjoy inhabiting my own life and to relish a lifelong love affair with my beautiful self.”

Later in the ceremony, she presented herself with a ring. When it was time for the traditional first kiss, she asked guests to blow kisses to the whole world. Soon after the ceremony, Nadine even took off on a honeymoon at New Orleans, all by herself, of course. Nadine says that after three children and a divorce, she spent several years just waiting for someone to come along and make her happy. She has struggled for years with self-acceptance, attending group therapy in an attempt to feel better. One day, when a friend said to her, “Why do you need someone to marry you to be happy? Marry yourself,” the idea took root in Nadine’s mind.

At first her friends thought that it was too weird for her to be marrying herself. Her 11-year-old son refused to come if she went through with it. But a few months later, she just knew that she had to do it. This time, her friends and her son supported her wish. Her parents also attended the ceremony, even though they had never heard of self-marriage before
