President Goodluck Jonathan one year in office

The administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, is it a blessing or a curse? In proverbs 10:22, the bible says "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." There are blessings that comes with sorrow. When Goodluck Jonathan took office in 2011, he promised Nigerians he was going to transform the country. But one year after we have seen increase in prices of essential commodities. We have seen increase in fuel, kerosine and transportation. This led to increase in food stuff. Now the Federal government is talking about increase in electricity. These increase is taking place without increase in workers' salary. After one year in office, i can say that the transformation agenda of Goodluck Jonathan is not yet in sight.

Coming to the area of security, in the last one year we have seen like no other time in history the excessive and continuous bombing of churches by the Boko Haram tourrorists. In the past one year alone over 600 christian worshippers have been killed. As we enter into the second phase of this administration, what is in store for Nigerians? Is this bombing going to continue? With the passiveness of this government, if the bombing should continue unchecked, i am afraid that our national unity will be threatened.Whether the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan is a blessing or a curse only time will tell.
