I will say this over and over again. What jonathan did was very very wrong. Changing the name without wider consultation. Not followin due process. Does he think this is military regime? And he's doin this nonsense wen they r still mournin the loss of their V.C. If UNILAG is to be renamed it should be renamed after someone who contributed to d upliftment of d institution just like OAU & d rest. Let him rename UNIABUJA or d national stadium & not UNILAG

Honestly,i believe renaminq Unilag after Mooshood Abiola is a great honor tu the institution dat has over the years gained reputation as a breeding ground for high class prostitutes.
MAU is not a private university..It's owned by the federal government and i dnt fink GEJ is wrong in anyway.
Abiola lived and thrived in Lagos,it is befittinq dat a key national institution based in Lagos be named after him..
The real loser is IBB who stole Abiola's mandate,the FG shud do more tu put him tu shame and the yoruba leaders who connived tu steal Abiola's mandate and eventually killed him..

Talkinq abt the students....why protest wen they can quietly grab wat they came for??They cud be injured in d process

YA ALL SHOULD phyukIN STOP BLAMING 9JA POLICE IN THIS ISSUE, YES WE DONT HAVE THE BEST POLICING IN THIS COUNTRY, BUT OUR GOVT DIDNT PROVIDE RUBBER BULLET FOR THEM TO BE USED FOR PROTESTING PERIOD BUT TEARGASSING...SO DO NOT BLAME THEM, I WLD RATHER BLAME OUR USELESS STUD PROTESTING FOR A NAME, THIS AS SHOWN THAT 9JA YOUTH ARE NOT REALLY INTERESTED IN EDUCATION BUT MORE OF SCHOOL NAME, IMAGINE ARE THEY SENT TO SCHOOL TO STUDY UNILAG OR TO GET EDUCATED AND BECOME SOMEONE IN FUTURE?

  THIS IS REALLY PATHETIC IN 9JA.... AND I AM SO SO ASHAME WE DONT HAVE A FUTURE LEADERS.... I WOULD ADVICE THOSE THAT ARE REALLY THERE FOR STUDIES TO STAY AWAY FROM THE PROTEST AS ITS THAT THIS SCHOOL WILL BE UNDERLOCK FOR SOMETIMES...
