Would u leave your woman if her father expects too much?

I once had a story about a man who left his woman after the father demanded for cows,phones and thousands of dollars as bride price...he just told the father to marry his own daughter. What wud u do? Persuade her to elope instead or?

sorry to say dis but if dat was wat ur fada demanded 4rm a man, den ur suitor was absolutely right..........even if it is the presidents son dat wants 2 marry u....ur fada is not suppose 2 add desperation into it....after all u pple say woman is not 4 sale but some parents are indirectly selling dia daughters in the name of giving her out for marriage......then if by 2morrow the dia inlaw refuse 2 ask of dem talk more of knowing hw they are faring or even prevent dem 4rm visiting him home...........den they will label him a bad inlaw

Really.., is she going 2 be ur wife and father inlaw at d same time?? I dont think so.., unless u are not talking about getting married officially........in dat case u dont even nid 2 see the parents......just elope wit her and start making babies..........if she really wants 2 get married........ or she is in luv wit the guy........she shuld tell her father 2 curtail his demands.., even though the suitor is the richest man in his country...
