Earning a whopping £120,000 a week makes star soccer player Mario Balotelli one of the most wealthiest in the industry.
The eccentric 21-year-old lives in a £3 million mansion, drives a £120,000 Bentley Continental GT and has a fondness for vintage champagne, but perhaps none for his biological mother who earns a meager £6 an hour working as a cleaner.
According to a Daily Mail article, the birth mother of the star Manchester City footballer lives far outside the lap of luxury.
Rose Barwuah catches the number 11 bus five times a week to Cheadle, near Manchester, where she works as a cleaner for a car lease firm.
However, Barwuah, who lives in a council home in Wythenshawe, says she expects no hand-outs from her famous son as the 46-year-old gave him up for adoption when he was only two years old.
The Mail reported that both Barwuah and her husband had been living in poverty in Brescia, Italy when the two made the decision to give Balotelli up for adoption.
According to the report Barwuah and her husband Thomas were advised to give him up for adoption due to a life-threatening intestinal condition, made worse by their poor living conditions.
It was only last Christmas that the couple, alongside their daughter, Rose, left Italy for the UK. A source told the Daily Mail that Barwuah said she only wanted to be close to her son and wanted none of the “huge wealth or luxury he now enjoys”.
According to the source, Mario’s birth mom has stayed true to her word, living within her means and keeping her demanding job.
Balotelli lives in Alderly Edge, not so far away from the far less expensive Wythenshawe neighborhood where his mother resides, but the estranged pair rarely see each other.
The source said Barwuah, originally from Ghana, keeps a low profile, so as not to put any pressure on Balotelli with her coming to the UK.
“He has his life and I have mine,” Barwuah was quoted as saying.

The guy should forgive her mum because she had a reason for doing that.They were living in poverty which they know they cnt bring him up. If they hadn't giving him for adoption he would have been somewhere in the street facing difficulties life has to offer him. His adoption even turned out to be a good one by making him famous n wealthy. With her mother he might not ve gone that far He should just forgive jor and help her mother..he's taking it too far. .Good talk my sister if the mother did not give him out for adoption, those people that approached her for adoption will sue her to court for child negligent and endanger at the end she will loss parental care of the child even not to see him again or come close to that vicinity, She did well may be the sickness would have resulted to death even paralysis, “Therefore come back home boy mama na mama even though na madwoman carry her baff em and treat her, now she is not even a boarding to any one she is working he have little to do for the woman”
