hmmmmmmm. when most of these 'universities' are merely glorified secondary schools. I can't believe the oxymoron of mentioning these secondary schools and 'best universities' in the same line... ugh!

This is a display of ignorance and it shows how some us in that part of the world really lack access to information or deliberately refuse get informed..... People who don't know and want claim that they know end up displaying their lack of knowledge to the whole world just as you have succeeded in doing.... The University of Lagos you listed as number one has no place among the top 100 universities in Africa, only four Nigerian universities came among the 100 top universities in  Africa  for the year 2012 and the are 1. University of Ibadan(no. 40) 2. Obafemi Awolowo University (42) 3. University of Benin (45) and 4. University of Jos (88).... Next time make sure you are in tune with current information before posting anything and stop displaying such high level of ignorance on social network .... perhaps some of you are not aware that whatever you post here can read by people all over the world.

They call them 100 best but I don't think most of them qualify at all, cos they have some kind of accreditation problems to settle with the NUC and some of them has no conducive environment for studying, illegal campuses and programmes and so much more...

This is just the list of Nigerian Universities according to the poster's choice of appearance. This is no where an acceptable survey.
Some Universities battling suspension of their operating licenses still made the list showing that the body that carried out the survey
are even more confused about than the Universities.
