Unknown Gunmen killed 7_Retired Customs Boss, Son, DPO's family in Potiskum

Unidentified gunmen on Saturday morning stormed and killed a former Area Comptroller of Nigeria Custom Service, Waziri Ajiya and his son Dr Ibrahim Waziri in his country home located at Nahuta Quarters, Potiskum town of Yobe state. Yobe State commissioner of Police, Patrick Egbuniwe confirmed both killings saying that "The hoodlums are trying to adopt the same operation like the one they did in Damaturu which we stopped,"
He said that effort is being made to track the assailants. "We have planned another strategy and this serial killings most stop," he said.
Daily Trust gathered that the gunmen broke into the house around 1:30am and kidnapped and took them to a forest along Gombe road where they killed them. A Resident in the area told Daily Trust that "his family communicated to us around 2:00am that some gunmen kidnapped Waziri and Ibrahim, " He said the Comptroller mistook the assailants as security agents conducting a search. "When he came out to know their mission, they kidnapped him"
"He pleaded with them to allow him talk to his son, instead they took the son with them when they confirmed that he was a medical Doctor " He said that they discovered their dead bodies in a forest along Gombe road. "It's very pathetic, they were shot dead"
The former Customs boss retired as Area Comptroller in charge of Katsina Border. He was described as very hard working and committed to duty during his tenure in office. They were laid to rest in their graves around 12pm according to Islamic rites.
Another eye witness told Daily Trust that the assailants were around 10 in number.
“They came in large number, broke the door and entered his house. They searched all the rooms in the house, took collected money and his wives jeweleries. They insisted that they must go away with the late Ajiya at which point his son Dr. Ibrahim a medical Doctor resisted. They finally succeeded in overpowering the helpless son and tied him and his father. They dragged them outside along Fika road and shot them dead”.
In a related development, a retired Police officer, ASP Mohammed Haruna, was killed on the same day along with his wife and three children at Sabon Layi area of Potiskum town
The police officer who retired as DPO was said to have been trailed to his residential house and slaughtered.

Honestly this Killing in my own point of view is a pay back time, i believe it has to do with they work in office before you know how this custom use to seized Goods , who knows is the life he made miserable when his was in power, too bad R.I.P

When those terrorist were slaughtering northern xtians like guinea fowl, most of these muslim elite only showed nonchallancy, we should always condemn evil no matter what, but now, the chicken has come home to roast, RIP.
