that is bullshit am in India dia mentality is somehow the lawyers everywhere can represent them in their own case now no more a no guilty case but to help reduce the number of years they are to spend behind bars    not until dey stp sex racism i knw dis will continue

They say its immoral because they can't say they are afraid.

The doctor's analogy does not work. And what lawyers are supposed to do is different from what they actually do. Lawyers complicate simple cases. When an accused openly confesses and he is taken to court, without a lawyer his plea will be 'Guilty, my lord, but be lenient'. When a lawyer is involved the plea will be 'Not guilty' and the case may drag on for years. Are they helping or complicating matters?

Abi? No be lawyers represent Al Mustapha? Bamaiyi, Anini etc in this country? People who confess openly to heinous crimes, the moment they are taken to court, they get a lawyer and they disown their own statements under the coaching of Naija lawyers. Shame!
