these guys are so dumb. they are just hopeless fools with nothing to do with their lives. Indecency has no place in our society. they are copying Americans and those guys look at them as nothing but mere monkeys so let 'em get a life. i think we nigerian have started something nice but at the wrong time. if FELA was not stoped,AWILO was welcomed in our country and even our governors, presidents dance to this musics, i don't think there is any thing wrong with my brother's music "enter d place". as for d'bang and the rest i think nigeria has bigger problems to tackle like corruption not disturbing my good and fovourite music stars. NIGERIA pls find something good doing. Isaac-tony says so. Reply

Quote from: rawgee9 on 26-04-2009 07:12 AM Nijja na wa o! how will the industry grow?one thing with my country is no matter how serious a situation is there's always some punk doing politics with it.how i'm i sure this is not one of those stupid Nijja musical politics.why not ban controversial songs and political crabs instead of fun?Nonsense oya ban fella make we see!!! [/quote YOU CAN COMPARE WHAT FELLA SINGS WITH WHAT THIS GUYS ARE SINGING TODAY. TGGHEY ARE ENCOURAGING SEX, ALCOHOL AND 419. THERE ARE NOT PLAYING POLITICS WITH THEM BUT THER WERE BANNED FOR THE SAKE OF OUR KIDS WHO WATCH ALL THESE ON THE TELEVISION. THOSE SONGS HAVE EXPLICIT CONTENT AND AS SUCH, THEY RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED ON THE AIRWAVES.
| |||||
WHY SHOULD PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SONGS THAT WERE BANNED BY THE NBC? IT'S NOT TARGETTED AT WITCH HUNTING ANY MUSICIAN OR ARTIST. THEY SHOULD LOOK WITHIN AND SING GOOD MUSIC THAT CAN ROCK OUR AIRWAVES, OUR KIDS CAN LISTEN TO WITHOUT CAUSING HARM TO THEM. THESE SONGS WERE BANNED BECAUSE OF THEIR EXPLICIT CONTENTS. THEY CELEBRATE SEX, ALCOHOL, AND 419. I WONDER WHY THE BAN HADN'T COME BEFORE NOW. WE WATCHED SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE WHICH IS ONE MOVIE THAT WAS PRODUCED IN INDIA; WHICH I GUESS IS A LOW BUDGET MOVIE BUT TODAY, IT'S ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER MOVIE. THAT IS CREATIVITY AND THAT IS WHAT I EXPECT OUR ARTIST AND ACTORS/ACTRESS AS WELL AS MOVIE PRODUCERS TO EXPLORE. ReplyI AM A FAN OF THOSE BANNED ARTISTES, AS A MATTER OF FACT I GREW UP WITH TUFACE IN THE SAME NEIGHBOURHOOD IN BENUE AND HAS NO CAUSE TO HATE ANY ONE OF THEM. NICE BAN BUT CAME IN LATE.
